Variations of Carbonyl Sulfide During the Dry/Wet Seasons Over the Amazon
نویسندگان
چکیده
Mid-tropospheric Carbonyl sulfide (OCS) retrievals from the Tropospheric Emission Spectrometer (TES) are utilized to study OCS distributions during dry/wet seasons over Amazon rainforest. TES reveal positive anomalies (∼16 ppt) central and southern parts of August–October (dry season) compared January–March (wet season). There is less taken up by vegetation soil more released biomass burning dry season, which causes an increase in concentrations. Strong sinking air season also helps trap this contributes anomalies. MOZART-4 model captures regions negative northern part Amazon, similar those mid-tropospheric retrievals. Our studies can help us better understand variations photosynthetic activities.

consequence analysis of the leakage, ignition and explosion during high pressure sour gas injection process to the oil reservoir
there is no doubt that human being needs to become integrated with industry and industry needs to be progressed, daily. on the other hand, serious events in industrial units specially in oil industries has been shown that such damages and events are industry related ones. the consequence of such events and damages which resulted in chemical and poisoned explosions and loss of life and property ...
Characterization of Aura TES carbonyl sulfide retrievals over ocean
We present a description of the NASA Aura Tropospheric Emission Spectrometer (TES) carbonyl sulfide (OCS) retrieval algorithm for oceanic observations, along with evaluation of the biases and uncertainties using aircraft profiles from the HIPPO (HIAPER Pole-to-Pole Observations) campaign and data from the NOAA Mauna Loa site. In general, the OCS retrievals (1) have less than 1.0 degree of freed...
متن کاملStudy of Sea Level Variations during Passage of Meteorological Cyclones over the Qeshm Channel
The main purpose of this study is the survey of the atmospheric low pressure effects at sea level oscillations in the Qeshm Channel. For this purpose, the curves of the pressure on the Persian Gulf and Oman Sea, during the passing of the atmospheric low pressure system, are extracted across the region. During the time of occurrence of these events, sea level oscillations in the coastal areas of...
